64 conversation starters, free to read right here.

These are not a sample written for a web page. They are exactly the cards the Frankly app gives away (the whole Icebreakers deck, plus the first five of every other deck), copied out of the app itself.

Why publish them? Because the app already gives these away to anyone who opens it, with no account and no payment. Putting them on a page you can read without installing anything seemed more honest than asking you to download first and judge second. The other 458 cards are behind the paid decks.

Writing something? Use them. Quote any of these 64, in any number, without asking: in an article, a newsletter, a lesson, a workshop. They are the ones the app gives away, and they are here so a piece about Frankly can show what the writing is actually like instead of describing it. A link back is welcome and not required. Every question also has its own address: put its id after the page URL, so /questions/#ice-3 opens the third Icebreakers card and marks it on arrival. The ids are the same in all ten editions, so the same card is /questions/es/#ice-3 in Spanish. The other 458 are paid, and are not on this page. Press assets are here too, free to use, with no request and no form. This page also prints as cards: two columns, no interface, the address on the last sheet, if you want them on a table.

Written by people, not generated. Every card on this page was written and edited by a person, one at a time. Nothing in the app is generated while you use it. There is no model running behind the deck. The app itself was built with AI tooling, which is a different thing and worth saying plainly.
